James Clerk Maxwell

James Clerk Maxwell was a pioneering Scottish physicist and mathematician known for his formulation of the classical theory of electromagnetic radiation. He developed Maxwell's equations, which describe the behavior of electric and magnetic fields and laid the foundation for modern physics. His work demonstrated that light is an electromagnetic wave, unifying previously distinct sciences of electricity, magnetism, and optics.
