Marie Curie

Marie Curie was a pioneering physicist and chemist, most renowned for her groundbreaking research on radioactivity. Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1867, she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences—Physics and Chemistry. Her discoveries included the elements polonium and radium, which were instrumental in advancing medical treatments and scientific understanding of atomic structure.
