Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison was an American inventor and businessman born in 1847 and died in 1931. He is best known for his invention of the practical electric light bulb and for his development of the phonograph and motion picture camera. Edison held over 1,000 patents for his inventions and innovations, significantly impacting modern technology and industry. He founded General Electric, one of the largest multinational conglomerates to date.
