GEORGE W
BUSH

George W. Bush was the 43rd President of the United States, serving from 2001 to 2009. He is the son of George H.W. Bush, the 41st president, and was previously the Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. His presidency was marked by significant events, including the September 11 terrorist attacks and the subsequent War on Terror, with military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Domestically, he pursued policies such as tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind Act, and the Medicare prescription drug benefit. Bush's presidency also faced challenges like Hurricane Katrina and the late-2000s financial crisis, after which he returned to Texas post-presidency.
