KANT
Immanuel Kant was an 18th-century German philosopher who is considered a central figure in modern philosophy. He is best known for his works on epistemology and ethics, particularly the "Critique of Pure Reason," where he explored the relationship between human experience and knowledge. Kant proposed the idea of transcendental idealism, asserting that our understanding of the external world is shaped by the mind's inherent structures. His moral philosophy, encapsulated in the "Critique of Practical Reason" and the concept of the categorical imperative, emphasizes duty and the intrinsic value of good will. Kant's ideas have profoundly influenced various philosophical disciplines, including metaphysics, ethics, and aesthetics.
